Sacramento’s best vegan restaurants: Here’s how Bee readers voted in our poll

Vegan food is prepared without meat, dairy or eggs — and Bee readers agree there’s one restaurant that outperforms the rest in Sacramento.

For the last week, The Sacramento Bee asked readers to vote for their favorite vegan restaurants in Sacramento. After close to 800 responses, the results are in.

In order of most votes received, Bee readers say these are the best vegan restaurants in Sacramento:

Burger Patch

Pure Soul Plant-Based Eats serves a variety of food including burgers, burritos, salads, wraps, tacos and more.

It gained 157 votes or 20%.

Plant Power Fast Food

Locations: Sacramento, Riverside, San Diego, more

Plant Power Fast Food is a vegan fast-food chain with locations across California. Its menu includes breakfast items, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, fries, milkshakes desserts and more.

It gained 124 votes or 16%.

Veg Cafe, a plant-based restaurant in midtown, serves lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch items. Dishes include curry bowl, guac burger and grilled peach and ricotta flatbread.

It gained 62 votes or 8%.

Bambi Vegan Tacos
