Austin Fox takes Manchester City Golf Championship

Derryfield Country Club's Austin Fox carded a 68 on Monday on his home course to complete a wire-to-wire, five-stroke victory in the 66th Manchester City Golf Championship.

The Championship Division title was the third for Fox, who also reigned in 2012 and 2020.

Fox posted earlier rounds of 70 (at Invervale) and 74 at Manchester Country Club to finish at one-under 212.

Runner-up Kevin Webster of Intervale shot a 71 on Monday to finish at 217, one stroke better than Manchester CC's Braden Kiley, who topped the Junior Division.

Dan Arvanitis of Derryfield carded rounds of 72, 77 and 77 (226 total) to claim his 13th Senior Division title in the last 15 years. Arvanitis also has 14 Championship Division crowns.
