Arizona Congressional District 3 Debates: Republicans, Democrats take the stage

PHOENIX - The candidates for Arizona's Congressional District 3 take the stage for debates on Wednesday night.

The CD 3 seat is currently held by Congressman Ruben Gallego, who is running for U.S. Senate.

CD 3 includes most of southern, western and downtown Phoenix, as well as a portion of Glendale.

The Republicans held their debate on May 22 at 4 p.m., while the Democrats debated at 6 p.m.

Many topics were discussed, including the border and inflation.

The Republican candidates attempted to separate from each other on immigration, especially on the path to becoming a citizen, while Democrats focused on the rhetoric around the border issue, saying there needs to be a change to how we look at the issue.
