Who's running for the U.S. Senate and U.S. House in Arizona?

U.S. Senate

Arizona has two seats in the U.S. Senate. One is up for grabs in the 2022 election. The other seat, now held by Democrat Kyrsten Sinema, will be contested in 2024. Senators are elected to six-year terms.

REPUBLICANS

Five Republicans are running in the Aug. 2 primary. The winner will square off against Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly.

US House of Representatives

Arizona has nine seats in the U.S. Congress. Each of those seats is contested every two years. Every decade, the boundaries of congressional districts are adjusted based on the U.S. Census.

1st Congressional District

Arizona's 1st Congressional District covers parts of Maricopa County, along with Salt River and Fort McDowell Yavapai National tribal reservations. This district covers Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek and Fountain Hills.

2nd Congressional District
