Airport power out briefly

Aug. 10—Power was out late Tuesday night around the Clovis airport following a traffic accident.

Curry County Sheriff Michael Brockett said juveniles "ran a stop sign and hit a power pole." The incident interrupted power in the area from about 10 p.m. Tuesday until about 1 a.m. Wednesday.

The sheriff said only one vehicle was involved and no injuries were reported.
