Adams resigns as Newark Catholic boys basketball coach

Nate Adams made the most of his three seasons as the Newark Catholic boys basketball coach.

Adams announced on social media Tuesday morning he is resigning after leading the Green Wave to back-to-back Division IV district titles. They were the program's first two district championships since Adams played in 2009 and '10.

Adams wrote in his social media post he is looking forward to spending more time with his wife and three children and focusing on his job as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.
