During his weekly appearances on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Aaron Rodgers will occasionally provide news and insight about the Green Bay Packers.

Today, Rodgers was asked about All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari, who has not played in a game this year after tearing his ACL late in the 2020 season. Bakhtiari has returned to practice, causing speculation about when he’ll be game-ready.

It doesn’t sound like it will be Week 14, according to Rodgers.

“I don’t think he’s coming back this week. I don’t think that’s gonna happen. But you never know,” Rodgers said to McAfee today.

Even without Bakhtiari and with injuries to starters Elgton Jenkins and Josh Myers, the Packers offensive line has held up well all season. Rodgers has been his usual prolific self throwing the football, and the 1-2 running back punch of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon has shouldered the load on the ground.

Put all of that together with one of the best defenses in the league and you have a 9-3 Green Bay team that is battling for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

After having a bye last week, the Packers will return to the field against the Chicago Bears this Sunday.
