College graduate's inspiring words about step-father go viral
It's graduation season, and students may look back at their time in school and the people who helped them reach their goal. One college student, though, also remembers someone who tried to hold him back.
Eastern Michigan University student -- now alumnus -- Daivon Reeder shared a tweet ahead of his graduation ceremony:
My step dad told me it was pointless to go to orientation, I wasn't going to graduate.....4 years later he in jail & I'm well.... 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/bLftj8BXni
