ESPN fantasy football crashed and the internet had a meltdown
The enthusiasm for the first NFL Sunday has quickly subsided and football fans are outraged.
Some would argue that their fantasy team is the most important element to football season, but in a nightmarish opening weekend, ESPN's Fantasy Football app crashed on Sunday afternoon just when the early games were kicking off.
We are aware of the current technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience & are working to resolve the issue ASAP.

But fans were unforgiving and spent the entire afternoon letting Twitter know it.

Someone even created the crash its own Twitter account:
Out of necessary optimism, there was one benefit...
The best part about ESPN fantasy football being down is that nobody can tell you how their fantasy team is doing.
