Santa gets a new look for a great cause
Toronto's Yorkdale mall features a Santa that you may not recognize. For the past two years, Fashion Santa has been turning heads in the Canadian mall and on social media. While Fashion Santa still has Santa's signature white beard, this version of St. Nick is slim and has ditched Santa's soft red suit for the latest in hipster fashion.
Model Paul Mason is the man behind the fashionable Santa Claus. The 30-year-old fashion veteran grew his white beard as a tribute to his mother and couldn't help but see the similarities between his beard and Santa's.

Don't let Fashion Santa's looks fool you. He isn't just a shallow updated version of the beloved holiday figure -- Fashion Santa is here for a good cause. Yorkdale mall will donate $1 to the SickKids Foundation for every selfie taken with Fashion Santa that's uploaded to social media with the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta.
But how does Fashion Santa compare to the real deal? "The biggest similarity would be our approach — we want to make people smile and bring joy and goodwill to everyone over the holidays," Mason told The Star.
You've never seen Jolly Old St. Nicholas like this before! "You get people that are a little confused, but once they think about it for a second, they warm up," Mason told CTV News.
