EPS came in at $0.64. The 25 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.81 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.64 for Q2 were 28% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.89 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.51 for Q2 were 33% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.76 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 78.2%, 30 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 8.3%, 690 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.9%, 420 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.40 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.42.
