Williams-Sonoma Earnings Preview

Analysts don't like Williams-Sonoma as much as competitor Pier 1 Imports overall. Eight out of 10 analysts rate Pier 1 Imports a buy compared to nine of 22 for Williams-Sonoma. While analysts still rate the stock a hold, they are a little more optimistic about it compared to three months ago.
Revenue forecasts: On average, analysts predict $1.25 billion in revenue this quarter. That would represent a rise of 4.2% from the year-ago quarter.
Wall Street earnings expectations: The average analyst estimate is earnings of $1.13 per share. Estimates range from $1.10 to $1.15.
