19-year-old jailed after sexually assaulting two teen girls in Sunny Isles Beach: cops

An 19-year-old is behind bars after being accused of smoking with two teen girls before luring them to a Sunny Isles Beach home — where police say he put a gun to their heads before raping them.

Adam Hyman appeared in bond court Thursday following Sunny Isles Beach Police arresting him the day before. He was given no bond and is set to appear in court again for a pretrial hearing Friday morning.

Hyman, who lives in Miami Beach, is a known marijuana and vape dealer and one of the victims had previously purchased from him, according to his arrest report.

Back in June, police say Hyman picked up the victims in his car and proceeded to drive them around Aventura, including the top floor of the Aventura Mall parking garage, where they smoked and vaped. He then took them to a Sunny Isles Beach home, which investigators note they later identified as the place where Hyman often obtained his drug supply. He told the girls it was a friends house.

When Hyman brought the victims into the house, they saw firearms, including shotguns and pistols, according to the arrest report.

Hyman dragged one victim into a room, pointed a gun with a laser at her head, and said, “Can you believe how easily I can kill you right now?” He then pushed her onto the bed and sexually assaulted her. She was too shocked and scared to resist, per the arrest report.

After the first assault, the victim tried to warn the second girl to leave, but cops say Hyman quickly pulled her into the same room. He assaulted her, telling her to “stop being a b**** and keep going” when she tried to resist, according to the arrest report.

Afterward, he pointed a gun at her head, saying, “Wouldn’t it be crazy if I killed you right now?” Both victims were left bleeding and in pain, police added.

When the victims began to talk amongst themselves about their assaults, investigators say Hyman yelled at them: “you better tell me what you said, I’m not playing, I swear to God, I’lI kill you!”

Hyman later dropped one of the girls back at her home but police added he told the first victim who he assaulted that he “was not done with her.” He subsequently drove the teen girl to a Publix parking lot in Aventura, where he sexually battered her again, according to the arrest report. During this alleged assault, Hyman took a video that was later used as evidence for his arrest.

Before dropping her home, she detailed to police that Hyman said he felt bad for how profusely her friend bled.

Hyman faces one count each of sexual battery with a firearm or deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, use of a child in a sexual performance, kidnapping and two count of lewd and lascivious battery.
