1 hurt after tree falls onto home in Westwood

LOS ANGELES - At least one person is hurt after a massive tree fell on top of a home in Los Angeles' Westwood neighborhood.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call near the intersection of Norcroft Avenue and Dalehurst Avenue on Friday. One person was taken to the hospital, LAFD said.

Officials did not specify the severity of the person's injuries.

It is unknown how much damage was done by the fallen tree.
