The newest Bath & Body Works store in the Columbia area has opened

One of the Midlands’ trendiest shopping centers officially has a new tenant.

National retailer Bath & Body Works opened a new store Jan. 21 at Trenholm Plaza at 4840 Forest Drive in Forest Acres. It is between the Sephora and HomeGoods shops.

This is the third Bath & Body Works store in the Midlands. Other locations are at the Columbiana Centre mall off Harbison Boulevard and at the Village at Sandhill in northeast Columbia.

There are nearly 1,700 Bath & Body Works stores across the U.S., per data company ScrapeHero. The company is known for its fragrant lotions, soaps, body sprays, perfumes, candles, sanitizers, shower gels and more.

Trenholm Plaza has continued to evolve. Aside from the new Bath & Body Works, it has a host of national retailers, including Starbucks, Publix, Fresh Market, Anthropologie and a number of others.

The aforementioned Sephora and HomeGoods stores opened there in 2022. In November, Publix announced it would expand its store at Trenholm by 10,000 square feet, bringing it to a total of 46,000 square feet. The planned expansion of Publix triggered the move of clothier Ivy & Leo to another spot in Trenholm Plaza. It’s now located in suite 6B in the plaza, in the former Simply Mac spot.
