Netflix’s Animated ‘Q-Force,’ Starring Sean Hayes, Gary Cole, to Premiere in September (TV News Roundup)

Netflix will bow adult animated comedy series “Q-Force” on Sept. 2, with a voice cast including Sean Hayes, Gary Cole, David Harbour, Patti Harrison, Laurie Metcalf, Matt Rogers, Wanda Sykes and Gabe Liedman.

The 10-episode order follows Steve Maryweather, a once-celebrated member of the American Intelligence Agency (AIA) who was sent to West Hollywood to vanish into obscurity after coming out as gay. Instead, Agent Mary assembles Q-Force, a misfit squad of LGBTQ+ geniuses including Deb, Twink and Stat, and they begin solving a case on their own terms. After gaining reluctant approval from the AIA, they now must put up with a new member of the squad: straight-guy Agent Buck.

“Q-Force” is produced by Universal Television in association with Hazy Mills, Fremulon and 3 Arts Entertainment.
