Nelly Furtado Falls Onstage at Coachella: 'Literally Left It All on the Stage... Including My Blood'

Nelly Furtado didn't let a little onstage tumble ruin her first Coachella!

On Saturday, the 45-year-old "I'm Like a Bird" singer made a surprise cameo during producer Dom Dolla's set. Taking the stage in a metallic all-pink look, Furtado delivered the first half of her high energy performance of her hit, "Man Eater," which the Australian producer remixed for his rave sets.

In videos shared on social media, Furtado begins working the stage during the rave portion of the song, and appears to loose her footing and falls. Not missing a beat, the "Promiscuous" singer effortlessly keeps singing as she lifts herself up.

Following her performance, Furtado took to social media to react to the moment.

"Eat your man .... not the stage," she wrote on her Instagram Story over a clip of the trip and fall.

In another slide, Furtado shows off her finger, which was cut during the mishap.

"Literally left it all on the stage," she captioned the photo of her giving the bloody thumbs up for the camera. "Including my blood. All for you @domdolla."

On her grid, Furtado celebrated the milestone career moment.

"My very first COACHELLA ! What a dream 💖🦋☁️ @domdolla," she wrote alongside a series of pictures taken on and off stage in Indio, California.

Prior to hitting the stage, the "Keep Going Up" singer showed off her look as she took a concert during day 1 of the music festival.

"Coachella Day 1 🌴☀️🍭," she captioned the photo carousel. Furtado's post led with a picture of her smiling for the camera as she paid homage to her home of Canada in a Drake T-shirt and a bandana. Furtado's post also featured pics with her 20-year-old daughter, Nevis Gahunia.

In September, at MTV's 2023 Video Music Awards, Furtado dished to ET about being a mom that gets her daughter into the coolest events.

When asked if Nevis believes her mom is cool, Furtado knows best.

"No," she said about cool points with her daughter. "But she's cooler than me. Yeah. She gives me my props, it's good. I'm lucky."
