Neighbours' Paul left upset over new rejection from Terese

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours' Paul Robinson will be left upset next week after his ex-wife Terese Willis rejects him once again.

In scenes that will air on Monday, April 22, Paul is busy continuing to help Terese work through her recruitment issues with her new business – retirement experience Eirini Rising.

With Terese growing increasingly stressed in the lead-up to the building's big opening, Paul's desire to help his former partner also grows, leaving Jane Harris suspicious of his motives.

But unknown to Paul, an exhausted Terese experiences a very unsettling dream which reminds her just why she and Paul split up.

Her mind takes her back to Paul's recent crime of trying to cover up Krista Sinclair's 'murder' (before he found out that she was still alive), as well as Paul's subsequent dumping of Terese at the altar in an attempt to protect her from the fallout.

Meanwhile, Paul's new girlfriend Chelsea Murphy is growing increasingly jealous of how much attention he is giving Terese.

An upset Chelsea tells Paul that he's kidding himself if he thinks he'll ever get what he wants from Terese again, and she's later proved right when Terese's upsetting dream causes her to pull away from Paul.

Paul is left deeply disappointed – is this the end of the pair's rekindled friendship?

Actor Stefan Dennis, who plays Paul, recently told Digital Spy that he thinks his character will soon reach a point where he is forced to "realise that Terese is not interested".

"But that doesn't mean that he is ever going to stop," he teased.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
