NCHSAA 2024 basketball regional championship matchups, times and ticket info

The NCHSAA 2024 boys and girls basketball regional championships begin Monday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.

New for 2024, a final-four format will see all regional finals and state championship games played at one venue, starting Monday and concluding Saturday, March 16.

Regional championships start Monday with 1A boys and girls action and conclude Thursday with the 4A boys and girls games. State championships will follow on Friday and Saturday.

1A Regionals - Monday, March 11

Boys

  • East Regional: No. 11 Bertie vs. No. 1 Wilson Prep, 4 p.m.

  • West Regional: No. 2 Corvian Community vs. (1) South Stokes, 8 p.m.

Girls

  • East Regional: No. 12 East Bladen vs. No. 3 East Columbus, 2 p.m.

  • West Regional: No. 3 Cherokee vs. No. 1 Mountain Heritage, 6 p.m.

3A Regionals - Tuesday, March 12

Boys

  • East Regional: No. 4 Seventy-First vs. No. 2 Westover, 4 p.m.

  • West Regional: No. 2 Central Cabarrus vs. No. 1 Hickory, 8 p.m.

Girls 

  • West Regional: No. 2 West Rowan vs. No. 1 A.C. Reynolds, 2 p.m.

2A Regionals - Wednesday, March 13

Boys

4A Regionals - Thursday, March 14

Boys

Girls

  • West Regional: No. 3 Charlotte Catholic vs. No. 1 Watauga, 2 p.m.

NCHSAA Championships: Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16

All eight NCHSAA championship games (four boys, four girls) will take place on Friday and Saturday at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.

How to watch NCHSAA Regional Championships

All 2024 NCHSAA Regional and State Championship games will be streamed exclusively through the NFHS Network (Subscription required).

Ticket Infomation

Tickets for regional finals ($10) and state championship ($15) matchups can be purchased online via the LJVM website and Ticketmaster.
