Country music singer and North Carolina native Eric Church is returning to his home state this year for his anticipated “The Outsiders Revival Tour” performing at two outdoor venues.

Church will perform first in Raleigh on Aug. 4 at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park and then in Charlotte at the PNC Music Pavillion on Sept. 23.

Texas native and singer of “Must Be the Whiskey” Cody Jinks will join him on stage in Raleigh.

Church’s tour will kick off June 22 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the Summerfest event and will run through the end of September, according to a news release. He will also perform at music festivals in Florida, California and Tennessee.

Tickets to see Church will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 20 on Ticketmaster.com. Pre-sale ticket access will be available to all “Church Choir” members beginning Jan. 17.

“I’m always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually,” Church said. “Whether it’s solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively.”

Other country stars and musicians will perform with Church on the tour stage including Paul Cauthen, Jackson Dean, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Elle King, Midland, Shane Smith & The Saints, Travis Tritt, Morgan Wade, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Muscadine Bloodline, The Red Clay Strays, Jelly Roll, Whiskey Myers, Hailey Whitters and Lainey Wilson.

A die-hard fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Church took some heat last year for canceling a show in Texas to watch the NCAA Men’s Final Four game between UNC and rival, the Duke Blue Devils. He later apologized to his fans for the cancellation.
