NBA World Reacts To Toni Kukoc’s Honest Admission

Former Chicago Bulls forward Toni Kukoc had a brutally honest message for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on Saturday night.

Kukoc, who was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, thanked Jordan and Pippen for being so tough on him during the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Jordan and Pippen were motivated to dominate Kukoc at the 1992 Games. They had a bad relationship with Bulls GM Jerry Krause, who was set to bring Kukoc over from Europe. So, Jordan and Pippen made it their mission to make Kukoc look as bad as possible.

It worked.

“I would like to thank Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen for kicking my butt during the Olympics in Barcelona, and then motivating me to work even harder to become an important part of the Chicago Bulls,” Kukoc admitted.

The basketball world was happy to see Kukoc admit this.

“He was always thinking during the game. Such a unique phenomenon this bundle of talent, in such a lengthy frame. Comes once in a very long time,” one fan tweeted.

“Toni Kukoc is a class act,” another fan added.

Jordan is getting some praise for his job as a teammate, too.

“Ok, so Pippen had Jordan introduce him. Kerr said MJ was the best teammate he had (after being punched by him), Perdue “he was one hell of a teammate,” Rodman said he was the best teammate, and now Kukoc said this. Yet Bron fans will tell you otherwise. Cheers,” one fan wrote.

It’s tough to argue with that.
