Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard had major news to share with his fans this week. However, his latest announcement has nothing to do with his eventual return to the hardwood.
It turns out Leonard’s executive produced album, Culture Jam Vol. 1, will be officially released this Friday. The album includes features from a plethora of well-known artists, such as Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie, Ty Dolla $ign, Wale and NLE Choppa.
Leonard isn’t very outspoken, so the fact that he produced a hip-hop album has the NBA world a bit surprised this Thursday afternoon.
On the other hand, Leonard is a notable star in the sports world who has plenty of connections. If he has a passion for producing music, now is the right time for him to explore it. After all, it’s going to be a while until he’s fully cleared to return to the Clippers’ lineup.

Leonard will host an event in Los Angeles next month to celebrate the release of his debut album. He’ll also use that event to highlight important topics, such as financial literacy and mental health.
