NBA World Reacts To The LaMarcus Aldridge News
A seven-time NBA All-Star is reportedly considering a comeback.
LaMarcus Aldridge, 36, abruptly retired from the league this past April. The veteran NBA forward had signed with the Brooklyn Nets, but decided to retire, citing health concerns due to an irregular heartbeat.
However, Aldridge has reportedly learned more about his medical situation and is now considering a comeback.
“After medical consultation, seven-time All-Star F LaMarcus Aldridge is seriously considering a return to the NBA this season. Aldridge retired with Brooklyn in mid-April with heart concerns, but is exploring the possibility of resuming his 15-year career,” ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted on Wednesday.

Aldridge was one of the best players in the league during his peak. He made seven All-Star Games and five All-NBA teams.
The NBA world is interested to see where Aldridge will land if he opts to come back.
“Aldridge ultimately needs team medical clearance to sign a contract to play and is expected to have conversations with individual teams in the coming weeks, per sources. Aldridge has yet to make a final decision on playing again,” Wojnarowski added.
Aldridge could join his former Spurs teammate, Patty Mills, in Brooklyn.

Of course, Aldridge could also land elsewhere. The Nets have a pretty stacked roster as it is, as they re-signed Blake Griffin this offseason.
