NBA World Continues To Speculate About Ben Simmons
The 2021 NBA Draft kicks off later tonight and while the draftees will be the main attraction, there are a few current NBA players who could be changing teams.
One of the players who could be on the move tonight is Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons. After he struggled mightily during the playoffs this past season, Simmons became the subject of trade rumors – and they haven’t stopped.
In fact, there are three teams that are reportedly in the mix for the former No. 1 overall pick. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards are the top potential landing spots for Simmons.
With a four hours left until the NBA draft kicks off, the Sixers reportedly have a plan for their star: they want to trade him. That’s according to NBA reporter Jason Dumas.

Fans, of course, couldn’t hold off on the jokes as the end of Simmons’ time in Philadelphia appears to be drawing near.

During the 2020-21 regular season, Simmons averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game. The former No. 1 overall pick has four years and $147 million remaining on his deal with the Sixers.
We’ll have to wait and see if the Sixers are able to find a trade partner before the draft kicks off later tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET.
