NBA All-Star Weekend: What to know about this year's 3-point, dunk contests
This weekend will be an exciting one for basketball fans.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend and All-Star Game take place in Indianapolis, for the first time since 1985, Feb. 16-18.
Two of the most exciting events, the 3-point shooting and slam dunk contests, are scheduled for Saturday. Here's a rundown of Saturday night's events, which start at 8 p.m. ET.

When is the 3-Point Contest?
The Starry 3-Point Contest is the second event of the night, after the Kia Skills Challenge. Coverage of the evening slate starts at 8 p.m. ET.
When is the dunk contest?
The AT&T Slam Dunk is the final event of All-Star Saturday night.

What's new this year?
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu will compete in the first-ever Stephen vs. Sabrina 3-Point Challenge.
Fans will also notice a new LED court, which will offer new animations and court graphics throughout the night.
