NBA fans might not like 'What A Pro Wants' ad, but Thunder guard Aaron Wiggins does

First, Aaron Wiggins saved basketball.

Next, he'll save his Thunder teammates from negative reviews for their AT&T commercial.

Asked Thursday about Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander singing "What A Pro Wants" — a parody of Christina Aguilera's "What A Girl Wants" hit from two decades ago — Wiggins defended the national TV spot that has received plenty of criticism since its debut for the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

“I thought they sounded really good," Wiggins said. "They're very talented guys. Very well rounded. I don't know why they get a lot of hate on the commercial. … Not getting tired of seeing it. I sing with it. I enjoy it.”

Wiggins and the top-seeded Thunder open the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday night at Paycom Center against either the Mavericks or Clippers.
