Naya Rivera, Sister Of Former NFL Tight End, Is Missing
Naya Rivera, the actress best known for her role on Glee, is missing and is unfortunately feared to have drowned.
The 33-year-old actress, whose brother played in the NFL, is missing at a lake in California. Rivera vanished on Lake Piru in Ventura County on Wednesday evening. Her four-year-old son was found asleep in the pontoon boat that they rented.
“Rivera went to the lake Wednesday afternoon and rented a boat with her young child. Both were seen going out on the lake together, Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Buschow said at a news conference.
About three hours after they left the dock, another boater discovered a boat drifting with the child asleep onboard. Authorities were notified and they began searching from air and with a dive team,” CNN reports.

The child reportedly told authorities that they went swimming and the mother was unable to get back to the boat. The child had a life vest one, while an adult-sized vest was seen in the boat.
Rivera, a California native, rose to stardom for her role on Glee. She played Santana Lopez in the high school music show and appeared in nearly every episode from 2009-15.
The actress has also been in the sitcom The Royal Family and the comedy movie The Master of Disguise.
