Nashville Predators winning streak now at 6 after 4-1 victory over Ottawa Senators
The Nashville Predators return home after a 5-0 road trip to face the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena.
Nashville needed to turn its season around after a 3-7-1 stretch through the end of January and out of the All-Star break, and did so with wins over the Blues, Golden Knights, Kings, Ducks and Sharks through their West Coast swing.
The Predators begin a five-game homestand that extends to March 7, the day before the NHL trade deadline. Nashville is 32-25-2 with 66 points through 59 games, good enough for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference, and with a four-point cushion ahead of the Blues and Wild.
The Senators, well outside the playoff picture at 14th in the Eastern Conference, are in selling mode before the deadline. They have been playing well lately, however, winning seven of their past 11 games.
Follow along with our live game updates below, with puck drop set for just after 7 p.m. Tuesday:
