Nashville, Middle Tennessee power outages: See which communities are without power

Power outages are being reported in Middle Tennessee as powerful storms marched through the region Wednesday and more were expected overnight.

A tornado was confirmed in Maury County, off Bear Creek Pike in eastern Columbia. The Columbia Police Department reported down trees and power lines blocking the road near Old Highway 99. One death and several injuries were reported.

As of almost 9 p.m., reported outages included:

Nashville and area served by Nashville Electric Service: 5,224.

Montgomery County (Cumberland Membership Electric Corp.): 88.

Sumner County (CMEC): 2,498.

Robertson County (CMEC): 139.

Cheatham County (CMEC): 97.

Wilson County (Middle Tennessee Electric): 2,741.

Rutherford County (Middle Tennessee Electric): 5,458.

Maury County (Columbia Power & Water Systems): 1,200.

Duck River Electric (serves multiple counties that include Coffee, Franklin, Bedford, Moore, Marshall, Giles, Maury: 14,600.
