Myrtle Beach-area campground named one of the best spots for seeing fall colors

An outdoor travel site has chosen the Carolina Pines RV Resort in Conway as one of the best places in South Carolina to view fall colors in 2022.

An RV resort and campground in Conway has been chosen as one of the best places to see fall colors in South Carolina this year.

The Carolina Pines RV Resort has one of the best views of changing fall foliage in 2022, according to Campspot, an Airbnb-like service that allows people to book outdoor vacations at RV parks and campgrounds.

They are able to get in touch with nature at the Myrtle Beach State Park, take a walk on the wild side with a visit to the Myrtle Beach Safari, or do some shopping at Broadway on the Beach.”

Campspot relied on resources from outdoor experts, including the Farmers’ Almanac, to figure out the best time to view fall colors.

Campspot chose Carolina Pines as part of its 2022 Campspot Awards, which rank campgrounds and RV parks around the country based on qualities such as best views, most popular, best for families and best for first-timers.

The rankings were done by outdoor travel experts hired by Campspot, the company said. The experts analyzed reviews, amenities and location to to make its decisions. Carolina Pines was awarded as the No. 8 best all-around campground and No. 5 best spot for first-timers.
