MyCentralJersey.com journalists won 14 awards, including three top honors, at the New Jersey Press Association’s awards dinner Thursday night.
Cheryl Makin (two) and Mike Deak took first-place awards in the small daily newspapers category at the event at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe.
Makin won first place in the Feature, Lifestyle and Entertainment category for a trio of pieces judges called "well-reported, well-written and very engaging."
