There were plenty of great performances on the lacrosse fields last week, and Tommy Cassell found some of the best for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Girls' Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Congratulations to the Grafton duo of Josie Hamilton and Abby Scanlon, who took the top spot in last week's poll with 163 votes (42.8 percent) to top Northbridge's Elly Schofer (71 votes).

Player of the week nominations are selected by reporters based on coaches reporting game results into the Telegram & Gazette sports department and game coverage from the T&G sports department staff. Bella Adams, Tyngsborough

Adams added three assists to go along with her six goals as the Tigers downed visiting Bromfield prior to scoring six times in a one-goal loss to Groton-Dunstable.

Elisse Boucher and Kathryn Brophy, Worcester

Boucher collected five goals and one assist while Brophy scored six goals as the Warriors rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to beat visiting Notre Dame, 15-14.

Kayla Flanagan, Nashoba

This senior scored five goals and added two assists to lift the visiting Wolves over Algonquin, 17-14.

Jayden Lilburn, Nipmuc

This sophomore compiled five goals and two assists as host Nipmuc rolled past Tantasqua.

Brooke O’Brien, Littleton

This junior scored six times in the Tigers’ road win over Auburn.

Bella Roman, Algonquin

This senior scored six times in a loss to Nashoba before tallying seven goals and an assist in the Titans’ win over Wachusett and six goals in a 12-11 OT win over Dover-Sherborn.

Elly Schofer and Madison Thibeault, Northbridge

Both Schofer and Thibeault scored five goals to lift the host Rams over Hopedale.

Alison Stevens, Tahanto

This junior collected six goals and one assist to propel the Stags to a 14-5 victory over Oakmont and then scored five times in a 18-8 win over Notre Dame. Stevens then scored 11 times, including her 300th career goal, in a 18-5 victory over North Middlesex.

Alexis Sylvia, St. Bernard’s

Sylvia scored five goals and had one assist as the Bernardians topped visiting Nashoba Valley Tech before tallying four goals in a loss to Malden Catholic.

Bella Young, North Middlesex

This junior had five goals and one assist as the host Patriots rolled past Lunenburg.
