How much are 2023 NBA Finals tickets? Here’s what it costs for Game 3 in Miami

On the eve of the NBA Finals, there’s still time to get tickets to Game 3 in Miami.

The series, pitting the Heat against the Denver Nuggets, has an average secondary market ticket price of $2,349, according to Ticket IQ.

The website says the price is the fourth-highest on the secondary market for an NBA Finals series since they’ve been tracking it. Golden State versus Toronto in 2019 had the highest average secondary market price, Ticket IQ said.

However, the Heat warn there’s a danger to purchasing from third party sources. The team said on its site that to guarantee the ticket then “the general public can purchase Heat game tickets sold directly by the team or tickets posted for resale by Heat season ticket members and other fans online at Heat.com/PlayoffTickets or KaseyaCenter.com.”

Added Eric Woolworth, president of the Heat Group’s Business Operations:

“Typically, our guests don’t realize their tickets are fraudulent until they reach our front door. And at that point, we’re unable to give them what they most want—which is to get inside Kaseya Center to see the game. We’re forced to turn guests away, which is something we don’t like to do. Therefore, we can’t stress this enough: please buy your game tickets directly from the HEAT or Kaseya Center via Ticketmaster because your purchase is always 100% guaranteed.”

Game 3 takes place in Miami at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7. The cheapest ticket available on the Heat’s Ticketmaster site is $445 as of Wednesday and it’s a standing only ticket. The cheapest seat is going for $570 and is a verified resale ticket. Tickets range in value, with the highest-priced tickets on the Heat’s official site, as of Wednesday, selling for $8,500 and more.

Game 4 is in Miami at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9. If necessary, Game 6 will be played in Miami at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.
