MTV’s hit show ‘Siesta Key’ gets a new name and a new location. Check out the trailer

There goes the neighborhood.

“Siesta Key” has pivoted away from Sarasota County, Florida.

The MTV hit officially decamped from the sleepy beach town and will premiere with a new name and location. That would be right here.

Mental note: The show formerly known as “Siesta Key” will henceforth be called “Siesta Key: Miami Moves.”

“As life in Siesta Key gives way to high energy in multicultural Miami, we see our cast grow up and greet their adult lives, and the pressures that come with it,” reads a tease for the docuseries. “Watch these young adults as they become much smaller fish in a far larger pond.”

The upcoming season spotlights the old gang including Juliette Porter, Madisson Hausburg, Amanda Miller, Chloe Trautman, Brandon Gomes and a few new faces, as they start their lives in an even hotter destination, in more ways than one.

We already had a clue that the reality show was relocating when we saw one of the main stars, Juliette Porter, showing her JMP The Label at Miami Swim Week. Her cast mates were also spotted by a Miami.com reporter gallivanting on the rooftop of Sentral Wynwood, where they were all rumored to be staying.

A quick scan of the trailer reveals no less drama here than these folks were dealing with back home. We spotted cocktails thrown, speedboats racing by, palm trees swaying in the breeze, screaming matches and more than a few tears.

“To make it in Miami, you have to turn up,” says Porter. “Miami, we’re coming for you!”

If you want to turn up for this crew, the show premieres premieres at 8 p.m. Oct. 27.
