Parents and guardians will feel like they’ve been transported back to the 1970s with the Bluffton Cinemark’s upcoming summer special on select ticket prices.

Every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., starting June 19, tickets for some films will cost $1.50 thanks to Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse program. The program will last eight weeks and offers an additional discount of $1 off deals on kids’ snacks and combos of any size drink and popcorn.

Some of the most highly-anticipated films of the summer are included on the movie program’s marquee, including “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” a prequel to the popular “Despicable Me” and “Minions” movies, and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile,” a movie based on a 1960s children’s book starring singer Shawn Mendes.

Certain theaters will also offer additional showtimes throughout the week which can be found by checking with the Bluffton Cinemark once the program kicks off. The program ends on August 16.
