Take That's jukebox musical Greatest Days is making its way onto the small screen with a streaming release.

The film, directed by Coky Giedroyc and written by Calendar Girls' Tim Firth, will become available to watch on Prime Video from August 25. Both hardcore Take That lovers and newer fans will be able to stream the magic and be transported back to the 1990s with two generations of friends.

The film stars This Way Up's Aisling Bea, Strictly Come Dancing's Jayde Adams, Alice Lowe (Lockwood & Co) and Amaka Onafor (The Responder) as four friends reuniting in the present day to attend their favourite boyband gig, like they did as teenagers. The special occasion will give them the chance to reflect on the ups and downs of their friendship, love and loss as well as create brand new memories.

"Greatest Days is a film dedicated to all those who have supported us throughout the years. It puts a mirror on our audience – it's a celebration of our music but it's literally all about the fans and their friendships," Take That said of the movie in a statement.

"Our fans have been on a 30-year journey with us and we have an incredibly strong bond with them, so seeing that they will be represented on screen by such a strong, talented cast is incredibly exciting."

Greatest Days is in cinemas now and will be released on Prime Video on August 25.
