Mount Union men's basketball player Christian Parker named to two All-American teams

Mount Union's Christian Parker received multiple NCAA Division III All-American honors following the 2023-24 college basketball season.

Parker was named a second team All-American by D3hoops.com. He also was a third team selection on the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-American team.

Parker averaged a team-leading 20.3 points and became the Purple Raiders' career scoring leader this season. He also led Mount Union in rebounds at 9.1 a game and blocks with 47.

Mount Union's Elizabeth Mason voted OAC's top freshman

Mount Union's Elizabeth Mason is the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Freshman of the Year.

Mason started all 26 games for the Purple Raiders. She led the team in scoring at 12.7 points a game and rebounds at 6.8 a game. She also was second on the team in assists with 57, steals with 33 and blocks with 11.

Mason joins Rosa LaMattina (2009-10) as the only Mount Union women's basketball players named OAC Freshman of the Year.
