Motorcyclist killed after hitting wall on I-71 ramp in Oakley

A motorcyclist was killed after losing control of the vehicle on I-71 ramp Sunday.

The crash occurred about 9 p.m. in Oakley, according to Cincinnati police. The 36-year-old male was driving a 1998 Suzuki GSF600S motorcycle on the Ridge Avenue ramp to enter southbound Interstate 71 when he lost control, struck a concrete wall, and landed in a wooded area below the interstate, according to police.

The driver was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. Police have not released his name.
