Motorcyclist killed in accident near East Jordan on Tuesday
EAST JORDAN — A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal collision on Tuesday near East Jordan.
According to the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office, the accident occurred at approximately 3:36 p.m. at the intersection of M-66 and Rogers Road in South Arm Township.
The collision involved a motorcycle and an SUV. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The names of those involved have not been released.
Collaborative efforts from the Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office, East Jordan Police Department, Jordan Valley EMS Authority, East Jordan Fire Department and the Charlevoix County Victim Services Unit were involved in managing the aftermath of the accident.
