Morris/Sussex boys lacrosse Top 10: Who will be MCT, Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex champions?

The Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex final is set, and it's an all Sussex County matchup.

Top seed Sparta will face second seed and defending champion Pope John at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Newton High School. Since both teams are from Sussex County, the final can be moved from Hunterdon Central, where it had been scheduled as the first game of a doubleheader.

Pope John and Sparta (2016) are the only Sussex County teams to win HWS since the tournament expanded to three counties in 2010.

Morris County Tournament semifinals will be played at Chatham's Cougar Field on Saturday. The final is set for May 14 at FDU-Florham.
