The pair have presented a number of TV programmes together over the years, including How The Other Half Lives and Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth. They have also made several appearances together on Celebrity Gogglebox.

They are best known for their roles as This Morning co-presenters, a job which they first took on together in 2006. They remained on the show until 2021, having presented its Friday instalment for 15 years.

After they left the long-running daytime series, they were replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond.

Eamonn later criticised ITV over his axe, claiming that he wasn't told why he and Ruth were leaving the show.

"No one explained anything to me," he said. "I'm all for TV companies being able to choose who works for them, but it would be nice if you were told why you were going."

Ruth is also a regular presenter on Loose Women.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV.
