More laxatives of Walmart, Kroger, Publix, 20 other brands recalled for contamination

In its most recent recall notice, manufacturer Vi-Jon reiterates that third-party testing found contamination by Gluconacetobacter liquefaciens and “Imunocompromised patients who consume this product may be at increased risk for invasive infections ... that could lead to serious, life-threatening adverse health consequences.
“To date, Vi-Jon, LLC is aware of three reports of serious adverse reactions potentially related to this recall.”
That’s up from one adverse reaction Vi-Jon reported earlier this month, when it expanded the original recall of one lot of lemon sold at CVS and Navarro Pharmacy locations.
