Moment huge humpback whale slams into boat full of tourists on dolphin excursion

A woman boating off the coast of Long Beach, New York, captured the terrifying moment a huge humpback whale slammed into the vessel.

Nicole Liotta and a group of other tourists were celebrating Memorial Day weekend, when the giant creature emerged from the water, making a huge splash as it leapt at the boat.

Social media users in the area claimed to have seen the incident unfold from the boardwalk.

However, if the first time wasn’t enough of a shock, Liotta says the whale later popped up again further away.
