Models and the beach are never a bad idea, Miami. Popular volleyball tourney is back
Hanging out on a beautiful beach with drop dead gorgeous models for your weekend sound like a plan?
Because more than 250 beauties from only the tippy top agencies (think Wilhelmina, Next and Elite) will be back to participate in the annual Carroll Model Volleyball tournament (lucky No. 13!) and you’re invited.
The place to be: 11th Street and Ocean Drive to watch myriad teams slide out and rotate for this oh so entertaining friendly co-ed competition.
The Celsius-sponsored tournament isn’t just about ogling flesh, day drinking and taking selfies. Proceeds benefit the Angel Watching Over Me Foundation, providing after-school programs for girls, with the support of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.
“This year’s event will surpass all of past tournaments expectations,” promises a release.
Watching all those skinny people work up a sweat may give you FOMO so there will be tetherball stations and a rock climbing wall on the sidelines to feel like you belong.
It pays to be a VIP at this thing. On site up on the beach deck (with a direct view of the action) will be yummy signature eats from Bodega Taqueria and Strawberry Moon as well as libations from Crown Royal Apple and Mamitas Tequila Hard Seltzer.
Regular spectators with normal jobs will be able to snag complimentary samples of sustainably packaged St. James Tea; refillable Path Water; and healthy Palmini hearts of palm snacks.
As for the celebs in attendance: “Real Housewives of Miami” star Larsa Pippen has been known to show up on occasion and probably will again, this year with her new boo. Regular and Kardashian stepbro Brody Jenner is set to guest DJ on Saturday for a sunset close at 6 p.m., and 305’s own DJ Ruckus is skedded to groove on Sunday, closing out the festivities.
