'Mobile Mortgage Mom' brings financial literacy and access to homeownership

SOMERSET ― Top mortgage influencer and traveling finance educator Jordan Nutter, otherwise known as “The Mobile Mortgage Mom” (@mobilemortgagemom), will be sharing pathways to homeownership and bringing her message of financial literacy to the borough when she makes her next stop at Somerset First Church, 149 W. Patriot St., from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday.

Partnering with FirstHome IQ, a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering “homeownership education, inspiration, and resources that lead to equal opportunities to build wealth through homeownership for the next generation,” Nutter is conducting a cross-country tour in her branded RV to more than 50 towns and cities in 30 states over seven months to connect would-be homeowners to essential homeownership resources.

She is also teaming up with local real estate companies to offer free seminars detailing the mortgage process. Those seeking a visit by Nutter during her tour can submit a request at Mobile Mortgage Mom.com.
