PEARL ― Mississippi State baseball and Ole Miss will each be out to score a rivalry midweek win when they meet at Trustmark Park in the Governor's Cup on Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs (29-15, 12-9 SEC) will be looking to sustain the momentum they earned with a big series win at Vanderbilt over the weekend. The Rebels (23-20, 7-14) will hope to bounce back after dropping two out of three games to Alabama at Swayze Field.

Ole Miss won the SEC series between the teams earlier this month for the first time since 2015. The Rebels dropped the opener before winning the middle game in extra innings and run-ruling the Bulldogs in the decisive third game.
