Here are Mississippi high school softball standouts entering the MHSAA playoffs

As the 2024 Mississippi high school softball regular season is nearing an end, The Clarion-Ledger has looked at the top softball players this year. Here is our list of MHSAA softball standouts entering the playoffs.

Statistics were compiled from coaches' submissions and found on MaxPreps or GameChanger.

Emma Abrams, Lewisburg: Abrams has a 1.38 ERA with 132 strikeouts in 91 innings pitched with a 12-1 record this season.

Maddi Byrd, Pisgah: Byrd has a .587 batting average with a .650 on-base percentage with 38 RBIs on 37 hits this season.

Teegan Dewitt, Hancock: Dewitt is batting .533 with a .582 on-base percentage with 32 hits and 23 RBIs. Dewitt also has a 1.02 ERA with 75.1 innings pitched and 119 strikeouts.

Nia Fondren, South Panola: Fondren is averaging .362 at the plate with a .513 on-base percentage, 26 RBIs with 21 hits.

Emma Franklin, D'Iberville: Franklin has a 0.59 ERA with 71.1 innings pitched with 97 strikeouts and a 8-1 record in the circle.

Blakely Gill, Houston: Gill is batting .657 from the plate with 44 hits, 34 runs scored and 23 RBIs this season.

Jolie Hays, Northwest Rankin: The Southern Miss signee is averaging .574 at the plate with 39 hits and 22 RBIs. Hays also has a 0.49 ERA with 71.2 innings pitched with 118 strikeouts.

Kaitlyn Hill, Ridgeland: The Alabama State signee has a 1.69 ERA with 20.2 innings pitched and 28 strikeouts while also having a .520 batting average.

Jaycee Holifield, Stringer: Holifield has a .510 batting average with a .600 on-base percentage with 25 hits and 20 RBIs this season.

Katelyn Kirkpatrick, Hernando: Kirkpatrick has a .380 batting average with a .432 on-base percentage with 30 RBIs on 27 hits and 27 runs scored this season.

Maddie Mask, Kossuth: Mask has a .429 batting average with a .485 on-base percentage and a 1.83 ERA with 42 innings pitched and 52 strikeouts.

Gracie McDonald, Ocean Springs: McDonald, a South Alabama signee, has a .521 batting average with 38 hits, 31 runs scored, and a .963 fielding percentage.

Hannah Jo Sullivan, Brandon: Sullivan has a .443 batting average with a .564 on-base percentage, 27 hits, 23 RBIs and 34 runs this season.

Brooke Smith, Northwest Rankin: The Georgia commit has a .388 batting average, a .481 on-base percentage with 26 hits and 31 runs.

Aubrey Pardue, Puckett: Pardue has a .483 batting average with 43 hits, 34 RBIs and 37 runs scored.

Skylar Partlow, Itawamba Agricultural: Partlow is batting .456 this season with a .569 on-base percentage with 26 hits, 15 RBIs and 30 runs scored this season.

Bree Phillips, East Central: Phillips has a .492 batting average with a .556 on-base percentage, and 29 hits 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored this season.

Marissa Pollard, Salem: Pollard has a .357 batting average with a .456 on-base percentage, 36 RBIs and 18 hits this season.

Chatrea Wallace, Ripley: Wallace has seven home runs, 23 hits, 21 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .307 batting average this season.

Anna Grace Whitehead, Kosciusko: Whitehead is hitting .500 at the plate with 26 hits and 23 RBIs. She also has a 2.24 ERA with 117 strikeouts in 81.1 innings pitched.
