Miranda Lambert Surprises Concertgoers With Reba McEntire Duet

Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire

Miranda Lambert brought out Reba McEntire during a recent concert, and fans couldn't believe their eyes–or ears.

The fun surprise took place shortly before the "Actin' Up" songstress wrapped up her set at Stagecoach over the weekend. During the end of her performance, the 40-year-old revealed that the country legend would be joining her on the T-Mobile Mane Stage on Saturday, April 27.

After The Voice coach came out onstage, the two walked hand-in-hand across the stage and proceeded to perform a trio of duets for the crowd, including versions of Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Gunpowder & Lead" as well as the 69-year-old crooner's own hit, "Fancy," as several outlets have reported.

The Reba alum's appearance certainly stunned fans, who enthusiastically reacted on social media with clips of the exciting appearance.

"Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire strutting down the catwalk hand-in-hand about to sing a song about shooting a man in cold blood? COUNTRY MUSIC BABY #Stagecoach," one exclaimed.

"Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire doing a 3 song set at Stagecoach wasn’t on my 2024 bingo card but here we are and I’m obsessed," another wrote.

Lambert herself later thanked the "I'm a Survivor" singer on X (formerly Twitter), sharing photos from their big Stagecoach performance alongside a message of gratitude.

"@Reba at @stagecoach y’all. Thank you to my hero and friend for coming out here as my special guest," she wrote on Sunday. "I’ll never forget it. She brought all the fire."

Along with the special duets, Lambert's show was also made memorable by the live debut of her new single, "Wranglers."

Still, some fans couldn't get over how this performance reminded them of an equally unforgettable experience that occurred nearly a decade ago.

"We all remember where we were 10 years ago when Miranda, Reba and Kelly Clarkson performed 'Fancy' together #Stagecoach," one viral tweet read before including a throwback clip of that very moment.

As for Lambert's new tune, that's set to be released later this week, on Friday, May 3. The song can be pre-saved here.

“‘Wranglers’ is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back,” Lambert said in a statement released to press, per Billboard. “I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us. This offers such a cool, raging take on how something like this unravels. I think the songwriters nailed it.”

“I am so proud to sing it," she added. "It feels like it could have been on the same record as Gunpowder & Lead in a lot of ways. ‘Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ is a pretty powerful statement, and the way it’s written, you can tell, we’re not kidding.”
