Millie Bobby Brown stunned in an elegant black dress while being honored as one of this year's Glamour Women of the Year on Tuesday, Nov. 7, with her fiancé Jake Bongiovi and his mother by her side to support her.

Brown's dress featured a unique metal accent that served as both an abstract necklace and the halter of the gown with matching earrings, while her hair was styled in a messy bun.

Meanwhile, Bongiovi wore a classic suit and white shirt without a tie, and his mother, Dorothea Hurley, the wife of Jon Bon Jovi, looked classy in a pantsuit with sparkling piping detailing.

Hurley presented Brown with the award on Tuesday, with the 19-year-old saying as she accepted, "Thank you, Dorothea, for your kind words. It means so much to me that you are here tonight. Your passion to help others with your humanitarian work inspires me, and I hope to be half the woman you are."

Brown's mother Kelly Brown, whom she fondly declared "the woman of my year," was also in attendance, with the young actress saying in her speech, "Thank you for lifting my chin up and wiping my tears. For holding my hand when I am scared. For loving me unconditionally."

During her speech, Brown also spoke about her journey as a child actress facing rejection and pressure from social media, before proclaiming, "I share this award with young girls all over the world watching. If I can ask you to do anything, remember these rules: Don’t let anyone box you in. Don’t let yourself be rejected. Don’t people-please."

"And as my Nanny Ruth told me frequently: Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle," she concluded.

Also honored as 2023 Glamour Women of the Year were Brooke Shields, Selma Blair, Mary J. Blige, Quinta Brunson, Geena Rocero and America Ferrera, with many well-known stars, like Mariska Hargitay, attending the event to support them.
