ICYMI, Miley Cyrus’ break-up bop “Flowers” is one of the biggest songs in the world right now, due in part to the many fan theories that have surfaced about the track’s potential connection to the artist’s ex, Liam Hemsworth. Now, their families have entered the chat.

According to Hola!, Elsa Pataky (who is married to Chris Hemsworth, Liam's brother) was asked about "Flowers" at a Gioseppo event in Spain and the actress revealed that she likes (!!) the song. "[The break-up is] a very old topic for us. If someone should talk it should be Liam, but I think [Miley] can do what she wants," Elsa said.

Fan account @mileyupdates posted a clip of the actress on the red carpet along with a quick translation of her interview, writing that Elsa explained, "I admire the song, I love it, I've listened to it and it's very good."

In the January 18 episode of Brandi Cyrus' podcast with Wells Adams, Your Favorite Thing, Brandi addressed the rumors, calling all of the theories “so good.”

“It’s so entertaining,” she told Wells, per Us Weekly. “The song did come out on his birthday — was that on purpose? I don’t know, can’t say. Genius though.”

“The fans — I love Miley fans so much, they go hard in the paint,” Brandi continued. “The fans on TikTok just keep creating narrative after narrative and it is so funny. It makes Miley seem like an absolute genius, and it’s just too good. Everyday I wake up to a new one.”

The actress and DJ recounted some of the most popular (yet unconfirmed) theories, like Miley interpolated “Flowers” with Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man” — a song Liam allegedly dedicated to her at their wedding — and that in the music video, she wore the same suit Liam sported at the 2019 Avengers premiere, where he supposedly told Miley “to behave.”

“The narratives are f**king hilarious, but it’s so great,” she added. “It’s the best PR that could ever happen because it gets people talking about the song on TikTok and it’s everywhere. And it’s just so fun to watch it all play out. Miley fans, I love ya.”

When co-host Wells asked Brandi if the rumored easter eggs are true, she remained tight-lipped. “I’m not here to say,” she replied. “I’m letting this play out… Only Miley knows the truth.”

Will we ever have answers?! Unsure, but in the meantime, we’ll be counting down the days (and refreshing “Flowers” theories on TikTok) until Miley drops the complete album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 10.
